As a former pro skater, i have gone through sooooo many pairs of shoes.

depending on your price range, the "best" can't really be decided but more of a preference. If you have the money, Nike SB is definetly the most durable and skatable shoe out there. Especially if you get the Zoom Tre A.D. it is a shoe designed only for skating. It might look kind of strange, but gives you AMAZING board control and is just fantastic.

Another one of my favorites is Lakai Ltd. Footwear. When you first put them on, it feels like you've been wearing them for months already, and you can easily adapt to them with your board. the toe cap is really good for flicks and other movements. one of the best. The only thing that bugs me about them is that they rip faster then most others.

(shoe goo helps ALOT for that)

finally, my last favorite one to use is Vans. They are usually extremly cheap, and can last a lifetime. they use the best materials (usually canvas and rubber) one of the best.

SOOOOO

1. Nike SB

2. Lakai

2. Vans.
