The Burton Operator is a board that is built for pipe. It's got a directional stance. It's made for bigger parks and kickers. Not necessarily for jibbing around the park. It is a little bit on the stiffer side considering the "Carbon I-Beam", which regulates longitudinal movement. It's a sweet board, but not if you're into hitting up every feature in the park. It's a master in the pipe.
The Forum Youngblood Is a better choice of the two, having been built for terrain parks. They have also been kicking *** at winning the Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood Award. This board has a medium flex, putting it on the buttery side, while still maintaining pop for big kickers. It's a true twin, which is what you want for park riding. It is a monster at jibs, jumps and whatever else you need it to do.
Go for the Youngblood, it's park specific.
Happy shredding!
