Go with what fits your head properly. Like boots, it's a must to try them on first... some fit and some don't.

A lot of people seem to find the Red Hi-Fi helmet great (made by Burton)

Personally I use the SMITH HOLT. It's awesome, fits great, very customizable (different liners, vents, etc) and looks nice. Plus the winter liner has built in headphones if you wanna listen to tunes while you ride.

Also important is to make sure your goggles and helmet fit well. You don't want the dreaded "gaper gap" which is the space between the top of the goggles and the helmet's brim. Not only will you look like a tool but your forehead will get cold and they will be moving around annoying all the time.

Try Protech, Giro and Burton. Snowskating is fun, but not really helment worthy.
