I put a deposit down for the new 08. I just started boarding last year, I did aliright on the intermediate slopes in Utah. Im hearing from people that I a chose the wrong board and that I am screwed. Will I be okay with this board?

I agree with the person above that Nitro is a good make and the Suprateam is a good board, but its not really the sort of board you buy as a first board as its more for advanced freestyle riders. If you percifically want a Nitro freestyle board there are quite a few other boards that might be better for you. You should look at boards like the T1, T2 and the Team Art Attack all these boards are more suited to a newer rider and are alot cheaper than the Suprateam so you will save a bit of cash as well.

Just ask someone knowledgeable at the shop, don't listen to what your friends are saying, likely they don't know as much as they think they do. One of the sites I saw had a review that said about this board, "Technical freestyle power with big mountain capabilities, the Superteam is one of the Nitro team’s favorite boards and the most versatile in their line.". That sounds like a good choice to me, a versatile is good and I have a Nitro board and highly recommend them. My first board was a Heelside. I got a Nitro board my 2nd season and it made a dramatic difference in my turning ability. I have my next Nitro board waiting for me in Austria, which I'll pick up in November. Personally, I feel you can't go wrong with a Ntiro board. My Mystique has held up for 3 long seasons and has seen well over 100 days/nights on the mountain, 4-6 hours of riding a day. And it isn't done yet, I'm handing it down to my niece.
