ok i just bought a snowboard today, it was $324 (canadian; approx. 286.00 american) and its the brand K2 . i was wondering if its a good brand... my old snowboard was Funky. so are either of them good brands?

K2 makes great skis and snowboards. I love my K2 Zepplin.
Without knowing what board you bought (the model) I couldn't guess what kind of deal you got but it seems about right.

Of the two you mentioned, when it comes to a board, I would definitely go with Option. They make some of the best decks around. TechNine is good, but mainly for their bindings. It's funny you mention these two brands. One of my decks is an Option Supercharger 168 that I LOVE. My other is a Forum Team 160, but I mounted Technine bindings on both of them.
