Hi guys.
I am trying to choose what kind of board to get. I already have Ride bindings and Thirty-Two boots. I want to know what you believe the best board is to have. I really like going of jumps and doing rails and boxes. What is the best kind of board for jumps and rails?

If you are percifically into rail riding and boxes you might be better off with a jib type board. Some good jib boards are Ride Kink, Apo Selecta, K2 WWW, Capita Stairmaster, Burton Dominant. But my favourite jib board at the moment is a Rome Artifact its probably the lightest mosty flexable board that you can buy. All jib booards are really easy to ride as well, the only downside to boards like this is they don't handle well at really high speeds and arnt that great for pipe riding as they are too soft..

If you want more of an all round round freestyle board you could try something like a Battaleon Evil Twin, Forum Destroyer, Atomic Hatchet, K2 Darkstar, Rome Agent etc.

There are actually loads of great boards for jumps and rail riding its just finding the one that suits you the best. Try and demo some boards if you can, to see which one suits you best, Good luck.

I would recommend for you the Forum Youngblood, the K2 Darkstar, the Nitro T1, the Burton X8 (if you want to spend alot), the Forum Grudge, the GNU Rider's Choice MTX (that's magnetraction wich is serated edges that cut into groomers well and is especially good if you live in areas where you ride a lot of hradpack or have icy conditions sometimes (i.e. East Coast). These are all park boards that will be great for jumps and rails!!!! Have an awesome time snowboarding.

I'm partial to Burton Boards started out with one when I first started and fell in love with it. I now own two Burton boards a Twin for when I go to the mountain and decide to be a park rat and my Custom when i decide to be a little more versitile I love both these boards. so i would recommend for jumps and rails ... Burton Twin, shaun white board, maybe even the jussi this also depends on how much u wanna spend... if u wanna save a litte and this is ur first park board u can go with the SEVEN or the dominant but the dominant is mostly for rais (which is what i mostly do but im not very fond of the dominat) .... I also heard good things about a few forums and GNUs even the Ride Society and Ride DH but I havent actully rode any of those .. I almost for the DH but decided to stick with burton out of personal preferance
