Which is a better board for me: Burton Elite or the Burton Se7en?

They both are around the same price range (Elite-$360, Se7en-$380). The Se7en looks like a better board w/ all its specs and stuff for just $20 more.

But the Se7en seems like mainly a park board and the Elite is a groomer/powder board which is more WHAT I WANT.
Could the Se7en be used as a freeride board or should I stick with the Elite?

dude why buy a freestyle board if you arn't into that kind of thing

and yes you can ride it around the mountain but if it is desinged for park then it will have a little more flex too it

this in turn will leadd to less stabilty and control of the board at high speeds

really ad say go for a freeride board you will get the control and stability you will need for freeriding

Look into what riding you are going to be doing all the time. If you are not going to be shredding up the park, rails and booters why buy a freestyle board. But are you a proficient rider right now?? A highend board doesnt make a highend rider.

u can use either board for either terrain but wat it is built for is wat its better for so if u plan on very rarely being in the park or not at all deffinitley get the elite, it just costs them more money to make the se7en and more people buy freestyle boards so they can charge more

You have to get what is going to be most practical for you. So if you think that the Elite is going to be more practical, then you should get it.
