Best Snowboard For Me?

I was deciding between a bike and a snowboard, and a snowboard seemed the better choice for me. I've heard Burton is loosing their quality, but i seem attracted to Dr. Whites magical scalpel (shaun whites board) http://www.burton.com/Gear/Default.aspx#/gear/productdetail/mens/boards/10426/206685000156/.

Im looking for something that i can bomb down powder with, but the favorite thing is park (jumps rails boxes etc.)
Suggestions? Also im only 5'1" but im still growing (slowly) so i dont know if a 148 is too big for me

Something you can bomb pow runs and still have fun in park well I have a few in mind for that.

Libtech's Skate Banana

Burtons Hero

Capita Horroscope

GNU Street

All good choice if your looking for a stable carving board and still want to hit up the park scene, really can't go wrong with any of them.

As for snowboarding size don't just pick a board between your nose and chin that's a rookie mistake

You need to take into account a few things your height, weight, riding conditions, riding style"all mountain, freeride, freestyle",foot size and skill lvl

Once you get those nailed down you can narrow down your board genre and size, Generally people go largest on freeride boards for stable carving and float in pow, Mid range for an all mountain board and smallest for those park rats.

Umm... i would say a ride snowboard or Burton ( the Shawn whites boards are still sweet). I'm not sure what you wanna spent so i cant really recommended any certain board. As for bindings I like the Rome 390's as there light and durable. Same with the Ride MVMNT but they are a little bit more money. Boots.. most boots these days have nice comfort and they last long. For boots it all up to person opinoin. Well good luck with what ever board you get.
