Well, that really depends...The Burton Twin is a twin board, which means is it perfectly symmetrical. This shape will be better in the park when doing spins and riding switch. The ride control is a directional shape, which means that it will be slightly wider on the front and will have a binding setback on the inserts. If you are a beginner, both of these boards are solid, it just depends what your goal is as far as learning. If you are mostly just planning to do groomers and the occasional powder day, the Ride will do great. If you want to progress and ride the park, take the Burton.
Honestly, Burton boards really aren't worth the extra cash--they are pretty heavy and the twin is pretty stiff. If you are open to other snowboards, I would definitely recommend the Stepchild Powder Sucks or Everything Sucks snowboard. This is a cheaper board that is geared toward the park.

Ride is just too advanced right now in every way. Burton makes the best boards in the world but having said that the "best boards" are 700$ and the rest of their models are ok. but ride makes every board quality both for your money and satisfaction. I'd get the Ride Control.
