Hey, this question is for all the big footed male snowboarders, 11+. I'm lookin to get a new park board for this season, not an 07 model tho i doubt, prob a leftover 06 or maybe even somethin used if i find somethin good on ebay. I'm 6', ~175lb, and size 12 boot. my problem comes in here: i want a 155-157, no bigger than that. Know of any wide model freestyle boards this size, wood core, sintered base, etc (no lamar's or other POS'), or if not a wide model something with a waste big enough so I wont drag, like you know from personal experience. I will mostly be jibbin, rails, some jumps, etc. not much pipe.

thx

ride snowboards have a great Freestyle (park) boards with a lot of wide options. I am 6', 170 and size 12, i have a 159 santa cruz board (regular), a 154 ride (reg) and a 131 nidecker (reg) for park. i tried a wide board once and hated it. i couldn't cut and carve as quick as i could with a reg board. I adjusted my bindings perfectly so i have zero toe or heel drag. they also make "risers" it lifts the binding a bit so you get no toe drag. My favorite setup i have for just freeriding is '06 santa cruz 'duo freedom' board, '06 ride SPI bindings, and '06 ride 'amp' boots

Im not sure of the board type. But I had to buy a burton bullet because I have 12 boots. 07 only costed me 269 plus tax.

I know that rossignol makes a great wide board, and i think winterstick makes one too. Personally i like to support tje smaller, more core companies like GNU, LIB TECH, Sapient, Rome, etc.. I think that they are ,much better boards than Lamar, Burton, K2, Etc.. Definelty chekc around to see if you can support a smaller company with american made boards.

I advise the talk board Destroyer. that's a tremendous board for park and mountain, and is presented in huge. also, the Nitro Magnum is a good huge board, and handles particularly nicely.
