Why is my Burton binding toe strap too short for my snowboard boot?

I have a size 12 boot and I recently bought some Salomon boots because my Romes were uncomfortable. I have a problem now getting the toe strap on with my 2011 Burton Mission bindings. I guess the boots are actually bigger on the outside than my last and I've run out of positions for adjusting the strap bigger. What are my options? Thank you.

You could visit your local shops and see if you can buy a longer ladder strap to replace your current one.

I in my opinion just like the Cap Straps. They dont push down on your toes like the other type. They truely push the boot again into the binding giving it extra use and response. So in a technique they are better.
