I've had forums in the past and currently have a magnetraction board(lib tech). I would definitely recommend the magnetraction, especially if you live on the east coast, it is very hard to lose an edge. It is also nice on jumps and rails. If you do get the magnetraction it took me a day or two to totally get used to the board, since it is a little more responsive than traditional boards. And definitely take the pro model unless your big into rails.

I have the Gnu b street, and it's worth every penny. Almost every week I'm snowboarding on ice and it keeps me from falling and busting my butt. Go with the B street if you live on the east coast...
