I don't have personal experience with either binding. But Ride is owned by K2 and I would not condemn K2 for originally being a ski company. Many technologies are similiar between skis and snowboards. They make lots of great boards and have been for a while, and have been incorporating new technologies such as the rocker in their boards. I'd go to a shop and check both out, but both are great brands and it might just come down to personal preference between bindings.
On another note, I have Rome Madison bindings which I purchased recently and have only taken out a few times so far. But they are great so far. They are a mixture of plastic and metal, which keeps them lightweight and gives you the advantages of both. Consider Rome bindings.

Ride. They are a snowboard company and only a snowboard company. For snowboarders, by snowboarders.
